JimDandy says:
JimDandy: “Cool” is a subjective term.
Certainly it is. Not only is it difficult to define, but the entire subject of what makes someone or something “cool” is in grave need of exploration. What’s cool to me isn’t necessarily cool to you. “Cool” has some relationship to fame or notoriety, though not all famous people are cool, and some are very uncool. The concept also ties in quite a bit with what is considered fashionable at any given moment, yet if something becomes too fashionable, and reaches the point that everyone is doing it, then it loses cool, often quite precipitously. It can rub off sometimes, and as I wrote, I think Goad, at first anyway, borrowed whatever cool he has from his associations with some famous “cool” people. But is he still cool, at the age of 59? He’s certainly put a lot of effort into trying to be.
In the early 70's m'dad, (from six weeks/who soon died). He said, when the cars race and there's a crash? The instinct is to, lift the foot, the winner, presses down.
On the internet, first thing, aka., "Aangirfan and Unz"... saw crashing:

Gil Scott-Heron is frequently called the “godfather of rap,” which is an epithet he doesn’t really care for. In 1968, when he was nineteen, he wrote a satirical spoken-word piece called “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.” It was released on a very small label in 1970 and was probably heard of more than heard, but it had a following. It is the species of classic that sounds as subversive and intelligent now as it did when it was new, even though some of the references—Spiro Agnew, Natalie Wood, Roy Wilkins, Hooterville—have become dated. By the time Scott-Heron was twenty-three, he had published two novels and a book of poems and recorded three albums, each of which prospered modestly, but “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” made him famous.
:
Scott-Heron calls himself a bluesologist. He is sixty-one, tall and scrawny, and he lives in Harlem, in a ground-floor apartment that he doesn’t often leave. It is long and narrow, and there’s a bedspread covering a sliding glass door to a patio, so no light enters, making the place seem like a monk’s cell or a cave. Once, when I thought he was away, I called to convey a message, and he answered and said, “I’m here. Where else would a caveman be but in his cave?”

The fact that Metzger did not know any of the killers did not impress the jury. Nor did the fact that he’d never told anyone to kill anyone. Nor was the fact that John and Tom Metzger were over 1,000 miles away from the incident when it happened. The sole piece of “evidence” that the SPLC used to bankrupt his organization was some vague message Metzger had left on his voicemail line about how he’d heard Portland skinheads were raising some hell up there and that he didn’t quite disapprove. Otherwise, there was absolutely no connection, direct or remote, between WAR and Seraw’s death.
