Paul on Putin
For a couple a three weeks before moving to silvrback (which I can mucho recommend. Aside from all else, the personal/community-like and responsive customer service) - I wrote daily. Below is one of ‘em, unedited/but needs it/not even inclined to wade through a reread.
I’ll bung up the rest over the next little while, why waste the effort?
I was saddened to read Paul Craig Roberts lose it (well, my take), over a - yet to listen - interview with James Corbett and Sybil Edmonds.
Is Paul a bit quick to be so harsh?
He once wrote re James W. Douglass in his book, JFK And The Unspeakable. (Again, not... ): Ignore Douglass’ interest in the Trappist monk Thomas Merton and Merton’s prediction and focus on the heavily documented research that Douglass provides. Dug me a touch. For me, Thomas Merton isn’t at all, someone to 'ignore'. Hey, ‘got’ to buy the Douglass book, read and review. Curious to discover if Paul makes a case?
“There’s a new thought...”- although, I ought’n to do this before finishing ‘Mary Magdalene by Ralph Ellis’ (a commitment re Tapnewswire).
Paul C, I’ve written, is every inch the statesman, but what good is this quick dismiss doing? It carries so little weight, yet he does?
I don’t think Paul sees himself in the same ‘world’ as many or most of his readers, who inhabit, what he considers is more speculation, than actual-ation. (“a made-up-mk-wd”).
By all accounts (well, Alex J), he took the humble path in interviews, over a decade or so, to somewhat cross-over and face a more accurate view of the beast. Although - not that he’s probably that aware or at least concerned - winds up one and all in his use of “Washington this and W that”.
What’s the prob?
It always backfires. The one person this damages is, in the instance... Paul. To write the fiercest critique of their position, we’d all appreciate but what... 'join'... the ranks of Washington’s presstitute propagandists’ is diplomatic-blindness. "Earth to Paul are a you reading me..?".
If he means join their 'opinion' it doesn't quite read so, he should have added the word.
Does he not care that some of his closest allies are theirs?
The later part of 2015 has seen an increase in pushing division without benefit, for conquerors who do.
Paul on Putin is born out of undisputed experience and wisdom. Here’s me adding something that might have tiddler of value and...
Hope.

Jonah was called to ‘preach against Ninivah’ but ran away. Alexander (Solzhenitsyn) preached against Stalin-state and got banged up - then sent away. Jonah got swallowed up, called on God then did his job. God changed his mind and didn’t let the city get overthrown. Alexander went from anger towards the system at home, to anger at the land of exile’s ways. Hated by his homeland bosses to eventual applause. The people were inspired at his influence to reform, then when go-West was tarnished, his profile somewhat followed. Jonah got angry at God who responded by giving Jonah a lesson on perspectives. Alexander was seen to lack perspective bashing the West compared to their still-struggles but ended blessing their Prez, which seemed to be an about turn for those who still remembered the man’s earlier career and aren’t so-with popular people’s praise.
"Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened" is Alexander probably best known quote, from a lecture when he first hit the States. In his early days he slammed the Russian Orthodox church for not standing up to repression, in later years he blessed them, all the while they still remained clearly state-sponsored, his original qualm.
And of course there’s his final book ‘Two Hundred Years Together’ that comes under the intellectually-polite not to mention, or speculate much about, banner. Finally, without the will to be published in English, is leaking out through activist translators.
I interspersed Jonah because the Bible in front of me happened to open there. I’m not sure there’s a point of comparison but hey, this my slap it up, typey collage. I should compare Wurmbrand with ol’Alex but ain’t such a smarty and am still in the dark-ish regarding these two men’s influence upon Russia today. Of course one is their most famous one, at least outside political leaders, the other was an evangelical biggie but I’m convinced his reputation, or at least his writing, hasn’t made the shelves of the up and coming young’uns.
To Putin. How does someone of his position potentially stand for Christ? It’s not easy to see, as he holds and manages, precarious, finely-balanced, competing interests. Only in retirement might he be more personally honesty, to what extent God matters, any preferred theology and convictions etc. The latest legal push towards church registration will inevitably initiate a new more-underground church. Russia shares the UK’s 1.2% named-evangelical make-up. The Russian Orthodox church has a more or less conservative spectrum, in using the term to designate; loyalty that stretches into persecution of evangelicals at one end and a kind of shared experience, and therefore acceptance of evangelicals at the other. Evangelicals grow through conversion and tread a careful line to appease the state and are grateful that history isn’t currently repeating its self and a clampdown. Many similar ones in Orthodoxy, favour making disciples within their own camp, a version still ‘Orthodox’ but in contrast to vast swathes who are essential liberal or nominal. Where tensions are more apparent is the Ukraine, where separatists want exclusive-Orthodox, even to the point of splinter groups torturing and murdering evangelicals. Nationalism can fear any descent that looks as if ‘religion’ is dissipating their cause.
Putin’s statements and actions in the name of Christianity throw questions such as - ‘is it?’ Over-simplistic cries the East is going the way of the Book - any more than the US-West through it’s para-church-lobby-neo-con drive - is fraught with paradoxically astonishing Biblical presumptions. A recent Baptist-based meeting with him; on one hand sought to equate the wider Russian push as standing against the compromising ethics of the West and more open to progression-Christianity; on the other, endorsed the obviously mad-misreading of Romans 13. Wonder if Putin has read wider, and most importantly, is communicating in a relationship with God, not doing public ritual and thinking without a heart for - and after - God. Judging this, unless openly disclosed and/or staggeringly obvious, is not commended - actually - condemned by God. Only in a local intentional community church, willingly invited to be, is their room for confession and loving discernment at this level. Otherwise we can but pray for the man. He does have the character that is, all a bit, all or nothing. He doesn’t necessarily need to play-Jesus. If he believes that it matters most at all, my hunch would be, he’ll mean business - otherwise his god is nation. The kick of power and money, unlike others in his position, doesn’t seem to matter quite so much. I’m led to understand he’s way by far, the financially wealthiest politician and has what seems, sincere interest in living life and for real. In this we have some encouraging signs. I get the, he/they, are in/out, with the central cabal and fixers but unlike China, significantly more out. The bigger question is, who sits with him in Russian echelons? If he prays with others his legit is likely, if he reads the Bible and studies some, again, more happening. Being ‘Orthodox’ means no more than saying ‘Evangelical’, both have strong deep lovers and - player-along-ers. Likely he’s a bit of contemplative, who knows his place in history will be, one more conman, or saint. If Russia starts witnessing numbers of authentic life-changing conversions, and at least nothing he’s unavoidably doing is quenching people’s opportunity, that speaks.
If it’s a ‘country-God’ - it’s nulled and utter worldliness. Go into all the world and make... laws? No, ‘disciples’, free to choose and all others loved until or if not. Russia and America popular political Christianity is counter the living God and mission. If you must be a collectivist and square it with scripture, the stumbling blocks are obviously bigger and more plentiful. Libertarians have a clearer line but either what, or anarcho dreams: Jesus never said the he would change the world through the world.
Jesus came to build a church.
The tide
Restating the aim. These daily’s are to sit behind articles from myself and guests. Once the first article is up (‘Revolution Rock’), and html is in place, these scraps and scribbles will be put in a drawer.
Why write? Well, because I believe it’s what God wants me to do - and so could leave it at that. I’ve already written in comments on other sites over a year, much that I believe, God calls. One rooftop shout is, our words and actions are his vehicle for rescuing this world from the ever gripping clutches of the new hell order. This manifesting, through centuries of active grooming, massaging of an unsuspecting public, domesticated and given-up. The church is particularly dumb yet has the mind and voice of God. This isn’t their exclusive remit. God is working with all who stand and fight for love, life and liberty. The enemy attacks two camps, two oppositions; the awake, including and, Christians with passion for God’s realm on earth. Unhelpful, to say the least, theological blinkers keep saints upon saints marching home and away from holy action.
Jesus was the the first person to spell out the conspiracy none dare call. And this not seen until the lights go on, regarding what God is crying and shouting. No NWO that matters or mission to stop it? Repentance has yet to come. The last century, mainly Charismatics (for me - right on but they all seem to turn in and off), decided the Biblically prophetic was a movie-like script they're in, not an instruction manual to write future hope and glory. Those rightly reacting the other way, shook with embarrassment at the watching world, joined the sheeple who think the progressive and reasonable will alone win the day.
To Wurmbrand. Again, this writing I’m on is unashamedly experimental, free and easy - notes without consideration they’re read or ready to be. A kind of pre-prayer and praise - prophecy. Hope in.
‘In God’s Underground’ is Wurmbrand’s best book I say, I won’t continue the bio for space and time’s sake but want to begin to pick up where the man got rightly radical in a number of ways that pertain to the fight. I contend (? - seems weak) - that people of his day were generally way-more up, on what’s really going on than us techno-soaked heads of these later days. The first half of the twentieth century among those blessed with education and opportunity therein, were digging into the rot, that today a comparative figure would mistake as alarmist without sufficient cause - or let’s la-la-la - simply philosophise away. Compare contemporary historians and commentators and the underpinning blueprint, i.e. enslavement and the cull, built in their trans-human deception. In more open times, in the need to flush out demon’s disciples, eugenics was given room for consideration. Read GK Chesterton’s cries, CS Lewis shuddering concerns for example. Today, it’s seen as an alternative view, considered wacky internet talk. Or, inevitable and should remain in the realm, we mortal and..? How the bottom has fallen out of empathy’s floor?
Prevailing commie-hate was brewing throughout Richard’s life but his high-up lodge brother further unraveled the ball of confusion. Although Richard took aim at collectivist fascism, he did what all freed-up truthers in the Spirit should do: join some dots. Discern the times. Jesus said we get weather but rarely get ‘the times’.
Once the Wurmbrand’s died, offerings flooded in and dodgy prevailed. Once a parable for flickering lights becoming a fire that kicked darkness - got whacked back - bad-bad - over the last decade. Their son was involved but is understandably aghast at the bosses of his parents initiative declining a request for some investigation into the mysteries surrounding the death of Tom White, the long-term CEO and all around spokesperson. No doubt untold prisoners and the like, were and still are, supported. It’s certain God is doing his usual grace and get on with the work, but those said to be there for the suffering suffered. Violent money, blind power and probably abusive sex, crashed through the defenses.
Ne’er fuss, we have a sort of ‘violent’ love and our weapons are right. Right against the might of oppressors. In Syria there’s one element physical fighters know, from the battles of old and new; a moral fortitude, that those on higher ground carry, something that's known to be discisive in turning the tide their way. 'And, from the days of John the Baptist till now, the reign of the heavens doth suffer violence, and violent men do take it by force’ Matthew 11:12
Tomorrow, to Russia and Syria. Turn the tide, O God, mountain move...
