Not Freaks
Thought of Tod Browning's Freaks (1932) when I saw Windsor, Ontario Has a Dwarf-Tossing Problem. Not something I care to read but Browning's film is still with me. Deeply. One of a very few, from hundreds, in some years of living in a retro-cinema wonderland.
I so rarely/don’t go/watch movies, but if I could see that again, on the big screen - no hesitation.
Actually, the 30’s and 40’s is the one era, I’d be drawn in a, difficult-to-resist.
I’m trying to post good news here. Tough. Maybe I should remember the old days. Not nostalgia but remind of older ways. Our forbears. Inspire.
