More Mass in B
December 30, 2015
Found a reverting film of one.
Had said I'd keep on Beethoven's Piano Concertos but the draw Bach-ward is too strong.
For me it went like this; converted Classical, can't listen outside without the haunting sense this isn't up to much, or at least, 'that'. After living with the Romantics and - the last late great period - the underrated English composers - JS Bach took over, and continues.
Must try and get into other pastures this year albeit same strings, woods, brass and all.
Bach: Mass in B minor, BWV 232. Knock me over big beat.
