Shallow sarcasm. Shallow historical/theology. Pleased he does, push, push – without pause. Doesn't do the Christian cause any harm. Far from it. Invariably points to the question/er. And with this, chances to answer/ourselves. God too. What David says, and his pick'mix from the range of explorations, we can and must do this, with Christian theology? Who and what David goes on to address, I/we can do likewise, but from a Bible-believing perceptive.

The Gospel is about invitation. Bible-open, 'heart' open – seek God. But if it's all conspiratorial cod's wallop? – Why bother? Well obviously, many hear/d these kinds of 'expose and put in the deception bin' and have no-sweat reasons to find them far from plausibly inaccurate -or- comprehensively not-covering the ground. In one or two sentences, like the ones given here that set-up these premises. Easy to refute.

Re/search – accept-be much dis-info about but dig around, and sound voices can be found. Search 'terms'. There be the issue.

There are strong lines that attempt a Biblical rattle and roll but none here. And without questioning through facing alternatives = without much power. Disregard and respect for Jesus, fair enough, but the arguments have to be substantial for “all made-up” theories. Not “because...” and no real engagement with opposing apologetics.

For a start, none of David's claims about history are given right to reply. He could DIY this? Or, would he ever interview with someone of Christian or other 'established faith' – try that? Although, accept on the other hand – not pretending myself to such a special saint/at all/far from – this could be counter-productive. But find a good un? Someone that can't be so easily conclusively countered, by this level of “de-bunking” Jesus.

'Pre-figured Christ figures'? Plenty of 'alternative' views. Plenty... from; the authenticity of sources through to a concluding logic that makes no sense almost regardless? (Even if the evidence was to persuade some/what amounts of this, might be the case. Is in some ways and yes… nothing new under the sun and yes universal truth embeds and is often revealed throughout ancient history).

Constantine invented...' if you listen to David. It's pop-headlines and “move on here nothing else to see”. We all know how mainstream does this. Looking into historical church or what's Biblical? Can be same-wise and agenda narrowed.

If I spoke for Jesus like, David does for the eclectic, calling 'all that stuff' is a conspiracy, I'd sound like a regular what would be called 'fundamentalist'. Simplistic, glib and not carrying intellectual weight. One blow and all falls down. David should get the strongest arguments he can against us 'prisoners'. Actually... speaks to me. Voluntary imprisonment. One of the ways are – my new – strict limits, to how long I go online and maybe a comment/twit. Prison up with Jesus. Off the screen-prison. Bible, alone – new digital disciplines – no distractions. Therefore less/this/comments/posts.

Am a prisoner for Christ, certainly when I'm on the right thing. On God. Long to be a prisoner with Christ. Not conformity that restricts but expansion and release.
