Julia
Aghhh. Sturdy fantastic Julia Fischer, on one, as well known as it gets. Where at? Another new interpretation on ever old faithful's. Struggled and spent and spent, to expand the repertoire but remain in the overly familiar. A lame, tried to try, explorer. Down... Up For seeing them at it on a clip and straight up rewind 'least a good half-dozen times. Rings away on auto-inner sounds, until next. Ever thinking "must try that unknown to me" something. Instead: Back to new player/s still a-finding, with some occasional straying into unknown works but most-oft classic classics and thus:
Johann Sebastian Bach: Concert for Violin a-minor BWV 1041
(Not going back a year to re-find/view what know and last season's winter wonderlands.
Nah look behind… new pastures.)
Eyes and ears for Julia. Ohhh. oh.
Not much else to write. Advice to non Classical-only-ones. Get on a piece/performance and re-re-re-repeat-repeat. Then day or so, or sooner, find some other versions, skip around sense one that hits, and do this.
Then move on.
All me saying, (to hardly a reader but don't check/or trust the stats) is; until the piece achieves the old grey whistle test? I.e. gets in ya, for singing and swinging along with.
Peace and goodwill.
Hey P.S. Woa and note and big-up to the Kristjan Järvi and the Sound of the Baltic Sea.
