The previous soundtrack to their rights of passage was Drum and Bass.

Where it started? How about go to a BIG sound, and where we were going?
Harlem —Killings and Lock-Ups, later,— they, march on, and ...yep, massive..., impressive..., KNOW'S, it.

Most days I speak to two or three people about music and life. Twenties peep., are my target. A gentle and fun exchange. No complaints on sharing love of certain music.
With R.A we have shared history. I don't remember him but have a feeling we met. The years would have been 2001-3. I lived one side of Angell Town, (Stockwell Rd.), and offices, opposite the Police Station and the south side of the estate.
Hip-hop was in the corner, underground, i.e. no music business interest, and no access to the technology/studio, to make the music, great. All it was.
Nothing like today.
The music was, there, —we'll never hear it. Imagine, today? The capacity of a mobile phone. Make a hit, on that?

For me, emotional music, the ol' Spartans.
