Con Art
Watson’s getting angry-er. This burst has much bold and (b)right to say about the theme but - tis all about examples (of arts and ?). Those chose, sometimes has me pause. Most e.g.’s without and/much question - assuming overall agreement - but others used, have more to say than nihili-junk. But I'm in 'that' mood.
Miles Mathis, if never read, has some papers (that’s what I call ‘em) in the same splashing waters.
In a bit of an up-for colours and shapes mood - but that’s graf-er-types for you. Even... (“feels like a confession coming, when I should... ‘Startpage’ - must/ought always”) -- saw a Google front-image, a Sophie Taeuber Arp diddlysquare-what-not. I was peculiarly drawn.
Now I did a search and looked again - not.
Concept art is symptomatic and symbolic of all sorts of sinisterly wrong and deceptive. It should get some comeuppance and this Paul-opinion piece is welcome. If it’s over stated for me - so be it. Better than the prissy sacred animal he’s on about. They are sleeping smugged up and so so paradoxically kool but about as knocked-up establishment can be.
And money talks - everyone but money, walks. Concept art’so... Here’s my lesser/if at all stated whistle-blow.:Downtown Manhattan, Lower-east-side. Modern culture birther supreme e.g. dance music and post-60’s rock (two e.g.’s).
Gentrified and the old GONE all in-a-year (‘85) or so? Change? 300 galleries in months, out-of-nowhere (well, Soho) : Concept Art.
